According to the Fund Report for January, a total of €525 million in new capital was invested in investment funds registered in Finland during the month. The fund capital also increased due to favorable market developments. The combined value of fund capital was €153 billion at the end of the month.
New capital was particularly directed towards equity funds, totaling €463 million. Short-term bond funds received a total of €54 million, while balanced funds attracted €99 million in new capital. Redeemable amounts were €14 million from alternative funds and €77 million from long-term bond funds.
