In April, a total of EUR 1059 million of new capital was invested in funds registered in Finland. However, the fund's capital decreased due to market developments. The total value of fund capital was EUR 158 billion at the end of the month.
New capital was invested in all fund classes with the exception of alternative funds. A total of EUR 711 million was invested in equity funds, EUR 54 million in composite funds, EUR 74 million in long-term interest funds and EUR 235 million in short-term funds. A total of EUR 15 million was redeemed from alternative funds.
