A total of EUR 1033 million of new capital was invested in investment funds registered in Finland in March. Fund capital also increased due to favourable market developments. The total value of fund capital was EUR 159 billion at the end of the month.
New capital was invested in all fund classes. A total of EUR 624 million was invested in equity funds, EUR 59 million in asset allocation funds, EUR 93 million in long-term bond funds and EUR 205 million in short-term bond funds. In addition, a total of EUR 52 million was invested in alternative funds.
