A total of EUR 982 million of new capital was invested in investment funds registered in Finland in February. Fund capital also increased due to favourable market developments. The total value of fund capital at the end of the month amounted to EUR 155 billion.
New capital was invested in all fund classes. A total of EUR 376 million was invested in equity funds, EUR 87 million in composite funds, EUR 152 million in long-term interest funds and EUR 352 million in short interest funds. In addition, a total of EUR 15 million was invested in alternative funds.
