Subscriptions and price increase increased fund capital — new investments in funds of EUR 148 million
A total of EUR 148 million of new capital was invested in investment funds registered in Finland in August. Fund capital also increased due to favourable market developments. The total value of fund capital was EUR 169 billion at the end of the month.
A total of EUR 72 million of new capital was invested in composite funds and EUR 364 million in long-term interest funds. Capital was redeemed from equity funds totalling EUR 241 million, short-term interest funds EUR 46 million and alternative funds totalling EUR 1 million.
