The improved outlook for the euro area is reflected in the stock market, with €673 million of new capital in Finnish investment funds.
A total of EUR 673 million of new capital was invested in investment funds registered in Finland in May. Fund capital also increased due to favourable market developments. The total value of fund capital was EUR 164 billion at the end of the month.
New capital was invested in all fund classes. A total of EUR 251 million was invested in equity funds, EUR 69 million in composite funds, EUR 130 million in long-term interest funds, EUR 200 million in short interest funds and EUR 22 million in alternative funds.
